About this site

Our Climate Stories is a research platform run by PERCC, sharing community-led case studies on how climate change affects vulnerable populations around the world — including women, adolescents, people with disabilities, and natural resource–dependent communities.

Using our content

The research, case studies, data, photography, and resources on this site are shared to inform, educate, and support advocacy — not for commercial use. You're welcome to:

  • Read, reference, and cite our research with proper attribution to Our Climate Stories and the relevant partner organization

  • Download and share resources for educational, journalistic, or advocacy purposes

You may not, without our written permission:

  • Reproduce our content for commercial purposes

Our case studies reflect the best available data and community-reported findings at the time of publication, gathered through direct partnership with local organizations. Climate research evolves, and local conditions change — we do our best to keep information current but can't guarantee that every figure remains accurate over time. If you're relying on this research for policy or funding decisions, we'd recommend reaching out to the relevant partner organization directly for the latest data.

Community representation

Every case study, photograph, and quote on this site represents real people and real communities. We work with our partner organizations to ensure participation is informed and consensual. This content is not to be used to misrepresent, exploit, or cause harm to the communities featured.
